Patriots Daily: Jones and Davis Activated; Practice Squad Moves

Published

on

New England Patriots cornerback Jack Jones

With 19 New England Patriots on the this week’s injury report, the team made a few roster moves yesterday. The Patriots activated CB Jack Jones and ST Cody Davis to the 53-man roster. New England also elevated two practice squad players to the active roster. WR Jalen Reagor and DT Trysten Hill received promotions in advance of today’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

Jones and Davis began the season on IR and PUP respectively. If they are active for today’s game, it will be their first action of the season. Three is the maximum number of times a player is allowed to be elevated to the active roster. After three, the player needs to be signed to a regular roster spot in order to play in a game. Sunday marks Raegor’s third elevation this season. This is Hill’s first time being elevated from the practice squad since signing.

Tweet of the Day

Today’s PFN Tweet of the Day comes from Boston Sports Burners (@Logan_Pats) showing Bill Belichick’s impersonation of Dante Scarnecchia during yesterday’s New England Patriots Hal of Fame ceremony. Nice to remind people that Belichick is still a human being who actually has a good sense of humor…
