The NFL offseason roster limit is 90 players. However, a player from the International Player Pathway Program is allowed a roster exemption. Since the New England Patriots signed UDFA Jothan Russell (Australia) they currently have 91 players on their 90-man roster. A view at the team as it looks today:

As the New England Patriots make moves between now and the cutdown to 53-man rosters before the start of the season there will be plenty to update. Inevitably, injuries will land a few players on injured reserve or the PUP list. New England could still add players via free agency, trade, or waivers. Others will depart to make room for them. Week 1 of the regular season is still over four and a half months away, but the picture of what Jerod Mayo and his staff will have to work with is starting to come into focus.
