Patriots Daily: Anderson Out; Trade Deadline Looming
The New England Patriots injury report for Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins is looking much better than it has all season. Only Calvin Anderson has been listed as being out for Sunday. Anderson is out due to illness. The offensive tackle missed the entire preseason with an undisclosed illness, which was said to be serious. It is unknown if this is related but wishing Anderson a speedy recovery regardless.
Seven players were officially listed as questionable for Sunday. They are:
DT Christian Barmore (knee)
OT Trent Brown (ankle/knee)
OT Vederian Lowe (ankle)
LB Josh Uche (ankle/toe)
CB Shaun Wade (shoulder)
DE Keion White (concussion)
DE Deatrich Wise (shoulder)
Trent Brown and Josh Uche are among the Patriots players being discussed in trade talks as the NFL Trade Deadline approaches on Tuesday. WR Kendrick Bourne, another player being mentioned frequently admitted that the possibility of being traded is something he will be thinking of.
“Definitely will be in my mind. Just be ready for whatever. I want to be here. I love to be here. But if there are other plans, then it is what it is.”

Fun Fact of the Day
Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill has 912 receiving yards in seven games. If his is able to play all 17 games and keep up this pace, he would finish the year with 2,191 yards. The NFL record for receiving yards in a season is held by Calvin Johnson of the Detroit Lions. He finished the 2012 season with 1,964 yards receiving in a 16-game schedule. But even if Megatron had an extra game and kept his same average, he would have finished with 2,087. So at his current pace, Hill would actually break Johnson’s record with a game to spare.
