Patriots Daily: Pharaoh Brown DNP; Open Roster Spot

New England Patriots tight end Pharaoh Brown

The New England Patriots injury report for Wednesday had 11 names, including four who did not participate. OT Calvin Anderson continues to be out with an unspecified illness, which is concerning given his comments about his preseason illness that kept him out of training camp. OT Trent Brown was also out as he continues to recover from his ankle/knee injury about being rolled up on in Week 7. WR DeVante Parker was missing due to concussion protocol. Parker suffered the injury on a non-call during Sunday’s loss to the Dolphins. And TE Pharaoh Brown, who has been one of the most pleasant surprises for the Patriots in 2023, was listed as DNP with a back injury.

Limited participants in practice yesterday were: DL Christian Barmore (knee), LB Ja’Whaun Bentley (knee), DB Myles Bryant (chest), CB Jonathan Jones (knee), OT Vederian Lowe (ankle), LB Josh Uche (ankle/toe), and DE Deatrich Wise (shoulder).

It is worth noting that with WR Kendrick Bourne having officially been placed on IR by the New England Patriots, they now have only 52 players on their 53-man roster.
