Patriots Football Daily: Combine Schedule; Wolf to Speak

The NFL Combine is underway in Indianapolis. With so many of the league’s decision-makers in one locale, there will be groundwork laid for offseason moves, and plenty of rumors will be flying. This is referred to as the “lying season” by many. It is important to take a lot of what comes out of the combine with a grain of salt.
As for the actual workouts for the prospects, here is the schedule:
Thursday: Defensive Linemen and Linebackers
Friday: Defensive Backs and Tight Ends
Saturday: Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers, and Running Backs
Sunday: Offensive Linemen
The New England Patriots could use a boost from all of these groups, so all four days will be worth watching from this perspective. There are also the interviews, which the media is not privy to but info tends to be leaked, and the medicals.
Eliot Wolf to Speak
Patriots executive Eliot Wolf is scheduled to meet with the media at 10 AM ET today. This further confirms the assumption that Wolf has become the de facto general manager in New England. Patriots Football Now will be reporting on what Wolf has to say.
