The Philadelphia Eagles enjoyed a lengthy stay atop the NFL Power Rankings. But after consecutive losses, Philadelphia now finds themselves outside of the top three. With all four 4-8 teams winning last week, there are still a lot of teams clinging to playoff hopes with four games to play. All of the bye weeks are now through, so records are on an even playing field.

The Browns, Bengals, and Broncos are among this week’s biggest risers. In addition to the Eagles, others moving in the wrong direction include the Colts, Rams, and Raiders.

Once again, these NFL Power Rankings are not based on hypotheticals, potential or feelings. These rankings are based on reality. As Bill Parcells noted, “you are what your record says you are.” The only team with fewer than three losses deserves to be up top, which they are. Likewise, the teams with fewer than three wins should take up the rear, which they do.
