Patriots Inactives: Jabrill Peppers Out, Cole Strange Available

New England Patriots guard Cole Strange is the highest ranked Patriots offensive player by Pro Football Forcus in Week 13

The New England Patriots released their list of inactive players for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. On Friday, the team announced that RB/KR JaMycal Hasty and CB/PR Marcus Jones would be out. Four others join them as inactive for Week 16. That group includes starting safety Jabrill Peppers.



New England listed Peppers as questionable for the game with a hamstring injury. He was limited in practice on Friday after being a full participant in practice the rest of the week. Joining Hasty, Jones, and Peppers as inactive are QB Joe Milton III (emergency quarterback), OL Tyrese Robinson, and OL Lecitus Smith.

The Patriots received some good news. Offensive lineman Cole Strange is available for the first time in 2024. Also available are two players who were listed as questionable, DE Keion White and S Kyle Dugger.

Buffalo Bills Inactives

The Buffalo Bills ruled nobody out for the game. in advance but did list seven players as questionable. Their injury news was not as positive. Five players are inactive due to injury, including several key players. Buffalo will be without WR Curtis Samuel, LB Matt Milano, CB Rasul Douglas, S Damar Hamlin, and S Taylor Rapp.

OT Tylan Grable and DT DeWayne Carter joined the injured players as inactives.

The Patriots enter the game as major underdogs on the road. Buffalo’s injuries could present an opportunity for New England, especially in the passing game.

The New England Patriots (3-11) and Buffalo Bills (11-3) play at 4:25 in Buffalo.
