New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft showed plenty of love on Tuesday night for the quarterback who helped bring his franchise six Super Bowl titles. At the inaugural “Holy Grails” auction in New York, hosted by Sotheby’s and Fanatics, Kraft placed the winning bid on a Tom Brady rookie card. Kraft’s total bill for the purchase came to $120,000.

The item is a 2000 Playoff Contenders Rookie Ticket Autograph card. The card received a 9.5 grade, with the autograph receiving a 10.0. Kraft’s winning bid was for $100,000, but there was an additional $20,000 in fees.

Robert Kraft and Tom Brady were both present at the auction. Kraft’s purchase was not close to being the big-ticket item of the auction, however. That distinction belonged to a 1955 Pittsburgh Pirates Roberto Clemente rookie card that fetched $840,000. The auction raised over $7 million.
