As soon as the New England Patriots opened up a roster by waiving Andrew Stueber, that vacancy has been filled. New England signed wide receiver David Wallis to complete their roster once again.

Wallis participated in New England’s rookie minicamp last month. He played college football for Division 3 Randolph-Macon in Virginia. At 5-foot-11 and 183 pounds, Wallis saw time in the slot during rookie minicamp. However, he produced all over the field in college.

During his collegiate career, Wallis caught 146 passes for 3,144 yards and 34 touchdowns. His 21.5 yards per reception is indicative of his big play ability. He is coming off consecutive monster seasons for the Yellow Jackets. Wallis caught 41 passes for 1,189 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2022. Last season, he caught 53 passes for 957 yards and 12 touchdowns.

David Wallis becomes the fourteenth undrafted free agent on the New England Patriots 90-man roster. He joins Deshaun Fenwick, Terrell Jennings, Jacob Warren, Zuri Henry, Ryan Johnson, Charles Turner III, John Morgan III, Jotham Russell, Jontrey Hunter, Jay Person, Kaleb Ford-Dement, Mikey Victor, and Dell Pettus. Wallis showing he can contribute on special teams will help his hopes of sticking with the Patriots.
