There was no movement in the top five of the Week 10 NFL Power Rankings. All five won to maintain their spots at the top of the pecking order. There was movement at the bottom, though, as last week’s two lowest-ranked teams emerged victorious. The No. 31 Patriots beat the Bears 19-3 and the No. 32 Saints upset the Falcons 20-17.

San Francisco beat Tampa Bay 23-20. The 49ers have won two straight and three of four. The 49ers were No. 2 on the Week 1 Power Rankings but began the season 2-3. Their Week 10 win improved their record to 5-4, putting them in good shape to make a strong second-half run. Most importantly, they got All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey back. He had 109 yards from scrimmage on 19 touches in his 2024 season debut.

The Kansas City Chiefs have maintained the No. 1 spot all season. The defending champs remained undefeated by beating the Denver Broncos 16-14. They are looking to become the first NFL team to go undefeated in the regular season since the 2007 New England Patriots.

Thanks to their victories, the Patriots, Saints, and 49ers were all among the biggest risers in this week’s rankings. The Texans, Falcons, Cowboys, Jets, and Titans were among those headed in the wrong direction after losses.
