Inactives Announced for Patriots-Bears Game

New England Patriots wide receiver Tyquan Thornton

The New England Patriots and Chicago Bears announced their inactive players ahead of their Week 10 game. There were no major surprises as several of the players had previously been ruled out for the game. Three New England players and five from Chicago were reported as out before today.



Patriots ruled LB Christian Elliss and S Kyle Dugger out on Friday. They were joined by newly acquired DE Yannick Ngakoue on Saturday. Joining those three as inactive for the game are QB Joe Milton III (emergency quarterback), WR Tyquan Thornton, OL Tyrese Robinson, and DT Eric Johnson II.

There was good news for the Patriots. All six players listed as questionable with various injuries are available for the game. That group includes OT Vederian Lowe, OG Michael Jordan, OT Layden Robinson, DT Daniel Ekuale, DT Jaquelin Roy, and S Marte Mapu.

CB Alex Austin was listed as questionable but was not activated from injured reserve.

Chicago Bears

The Bears ruled OT Kiran Amegadjie, OT Braxton Jones, OT Darnell Wright, OG Nate Davis, and S Jaquan Brisker out for the game. Chicago designated DL Darrell Taylor, LB Noah Sewell, and CB Ameer Speed inactive for the game as well.

The New England Patriots (2-7) play the Chicago Bears (4-4) on FOX.
