Week 6 Inactives for the New England Patriots vs Houston Texans

New England Patriots WR Tyquan Thornton

The New England Patriots disclosed their inactive list for their Week 6 matchup against the Houston Texans. The list includes starting RB Rhamondre Stevenson (foot) who was known to be out earlier in the week. LS Joe Cardona (personal) is also inactive for the game.

The Patriots indicated Cardona would be unavailable with the elevation of LS Tucker Addington from the practice squad. New England elevated RB Terrell Jennings from the practice squad as well. It was not a surprise that a running back was elevated, though many expected Kevin Harris to get the nod in Stevenson’s place.

The other inactive players for New England are QB Joe Milton III, WR Javon Baker, WR Tyquan Thornton, OG Layden Robinson, and DT Eric Johnson II.

Tyquan Thornton posted on Instagram last night, “Take Things Personally.” This indicates he knew about being a healthy scratch for the game. Baker and Johnson were also inactive without injury designations.

The good news for the New England Patriots is how many key players listed as questionable for the game will play. This includes WR Kendrick Bourne, C Nick Leverett, LB Anfernee Jennings, CB Marcus Jones, and S Kyle Dugger.

Houston Texans Inactives

The Houston Texans named five inactive players for the game. WR Robert Woods, OG Nick Broeker, LB Rashad Weaver, CB Kamari Lassiter, and S Jimmie Ward. Woods, Ward, and Lassiter were all ruled out before today’s announcement. The biggest loss for the Texans against the New England Patriots is WR Nico Collins. The NFL’s leading receiver was placed on injured reserve earlier this week.
