Inactives for Patriots-Jets: Six Receivers Dress for New England

Published

on

New England Patriots WR Kayshon Boutte

The New England Patriots and New York Jets announced their inactive players for Thursday Night Football. While there are no major surprises for either team, there is some interesting news. As previously known, OT Vederian Lowe, OG Sidy Sow, and LB Ja’Whaun Bentley are all due to injuries. They make up half of New England’s inactives.

The other three Patriots sitting out tonight are QB Joe Milton III, DE Jamree Kromah, and CB Marco Wilson. The lone surprise here is Wilson, who was active for the first two games. However, he received defensive pass interference calls in each. His snaps will likely go to Alex Austin, though rookie Marcellas Dial Jr. could see some defensive action.

Milton has been inactive for all three games. He serves as the team’s third quarterback. Kromah just signed with New England yesterday, making it unlikely for him to play.

This means the New England Patriots will have six wide receivers active for the first time this season. DeMario Douglas, Ja’Lynn Polk, K.J. Osborn, Tyquan Thornton, Javon Baker, and Kayshon Boutte are all among those in the lineup. OT Demontrey Jacobs and LB Curtis Jacobs are active for the first time as Patriots. For Curtis Jacobs, tonight could be his NFL debut.

New York Jets Inactives

The lone notable member of the Jets inactive list is LB C.J. Mosley. He was listed as questionable for the game but will not play.

The New York Jets host the New England Patriots tonight at 8:15 on Prime Video.
