Six More Players Signed to Patriots Practice Squad
The New England Patriots continued to fill out their 2024 practice squad roster. After signing seven players to the unit on Wednesday, the team announced the additions of six more players on Thursday. The Patriots practice squad now has only four open spots remaining.
The most recent additions include three players who were initially on the 53-man roster: WR/KR Jalen Reagor, OG Michael Jordan, and DL Trysten Hill. All three were previously reported as having practiced with the team on Thursday, so those signings do not come as a surprise.

In addition to bringing back Reagor, Jordan, and Hill, the Patriots added three new outside players to the practice squad. Meet the newest member of the New England Patriots (practice squad):
OL Bryan Hudson
Hudson was a starting offensive lineman for five seasons with the Louisville Cardinals. He primarily played center, where he started his final two seasons, though he has experience playing guard. Hudson went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft. He signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent and was among their final cuts. He provides a player on the roster with significant experience playing center, which the team lacked outside of David Andrews. Bryan Hudson played 114 snaps with the Lions during the preseason. He earned a 65,6 grade from Pro Football Focus, including a 71.7 grade for run blocking.
OL Jerome Carvin
Jerome Carvin is another offensive lineman with center experience. He played center and guard in college and during his NFL preseason experience. He went undrafted in 2023 following his collegiate career with the Tennessee Volunteers. Garvin originally signed with the Kansas City Chiefs but was released on the NFL’s Cutdown Day. He signed with the Chicago Bears practice squad, spending his entire rookie season there. Chicago let him go during the final cuts this season. PFF gave Carvin an unimpressive grade of 49.2 this preseason. It was largely affected by his three penalties over 128 offensive snaps. He received an excellent pass-blocking grade of 77.7.
ED Brevin Allen
The Los Angeles Chargers signed Brevin Allen as an undrafted free agent following the 2023 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at Campbell, earning Big South Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2021. He spent his rookie season on the Chargers practice squad but was elevated for two NFL games. Allen joined the Green Bay Packers in training camp this year. He has excellent measurables, standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 265 pounds. His size allows him to line up at defensive end or outside linebacker. He provides depth on the roster at an area of need.
