The New England Patriots have made another addition to their front office. According to reports, the Patriots are hiring Bob Kronenberg to join Eliot Wolf’s staff. Kroenenberg becomes the latest outside hire added to New England’s front office this offseason.

Neil Stratton of Inside the League was the first to report the news.

The 53 year old Kronenberg has been in professional football for over 30 years. He played in the Canadian Football League, NFL Europe, and Arena Football League. Following his playing career, Kronenberg coached in the Arena Football. League before embarking on an NFL career. He served as both a scout and assistant coach with the Atlanta Falcons, his most recent employer.

Bob Kronenberg is reportedly becoming the Patriots Assistant Director of Pro Scouting. As of now, the team does not have a Director of Pro Scouting. The job was previously held by Steve Cargile, but it was announced earlier this month that he would not be returning for 2024.

Kronenberg joins other new additions to the New England Patriots front office in 2024. These additions include Alonzo Highsmith (senior personnel executive) and Pat Stewart (senior personnel advisor). Based on the void left by Cargile’s departure, the Patriots might not be done quite yet.
