A video is going viral of former New England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton involved in an altercation. The original post on Twitter/X states that Cam Newton is “fighting TSP dudes.” X account @vanman_1000 posted the video of the fight.

Another account, Art of Dialogue, shows the fight from a different angle. It appears staff at the event eventually tried to help breakup whatever was happening. Again, the TSP Crew is referenced.

Cam Newton played the 2020 season with the New England Patriots. The rest of his NFL career (2011-2019, 2021) was spent with the Carolina Panthers. Newton was the 2011 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. Newton was named 2015 NFL MVP and NFL Offensive Player of the Year while helping Carolina advance to Super Bowl 50.

In college, Newton won the 2010 Heisman Trophy and led the Auburn Tigers to a National Championship that same season.

Cam Newton’s lone season with the New England Patriots was the COVID year. He finished 7-8 in 15 starts. He finished the season with eight touchdown passes against 10 interceptions thrown. However, Newton tied Steve Grogan’s franchise record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback with 12. Rookie Mac Jones beat out Newton for the starting job before the 2021 season. New England opted to release Newton instead of keeping him on the roster as a backup. Cam Newton is the NFL’s career leader in rushing touchdowns for a quarterback with 75.

It is unknown what set off this altercation involving Cam Newton. Patriots Football Now will update the story as details become available.
