The New England Patriots had four players missing from Wednesday’s practice. RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) has missed the past two games, so his absence was no surprise. Joining him were a trio of players banged up in Sunday’s game against Kansas City. TE Hunter Henry (knee), OT Conor McDermott (concussion), and DB Jabrill Peppers (hamstring) all did not participate as well. Seven players were limited participants at practice. OT Trent Brown (ankle/hand) and WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (ankle) both did not play against the Chiefs. They were among those participating on a limited basis on Wednesday.
Yesterday the Patriots media gave out the 2023 Ron Hobson Good Guy Award. The award is named in honor of the longtime Patriots reporter, and given to a New England player in recognition of their cooperation with the media. This year’s recipient was David Andrews.

Fun Fact of the Day
Today is Mark Ingram’s birthday. The 2010 Heisman Trophy winner went on to rush for 8,111 yards in his NFL career. This places Ingram tenth among Heisman winners in career NFL rushing cards. The top ten are:
- Barry Sanders, Oklahoma State
- Tony Dorsett, Pitt
- Marcus Allen, USC
- O.J. Simpson, USC
- Eddie George, Ohio State
- Ricky Williams, Texas
- Earl Campbell, Texas
- Derrick Henry, Alabama
- Herschel Walker, Georgia
- Mark Ingram, Alabama
Henry (2015) is the only running back to win the award since Ingram.
