Patriots Daily: My Cause, My Cleats; New England Camp Honored

New England Patriots Inactive Report for Week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Deshaun Fenwick

This week the NFL kicks off their “My Cause, My Cleats” celebration. This takes place in Week 13 and Week 14 of the season. According to official NFL site, this is an opportunity for player to “wear their hearts on their feet.” Participating players pick a cause important to them. That cause is then incorporated into a design on a pair of custom cleats. On Saturday, the New England Patriots gave a preview of some of their player’s cleats.

In addition to these incredible causes, there is a New England camp being celebrated for “My Cause, My Cleats” as well. Camp Young Judaea is an overnight camp for Jewish youth in Amherst, N.H. One of their former campers is Seattle Seahawks offensive lineman Jake Curhan. He donned his YJ footwear on Thursday Night Football, when the Seahawks played the Dallas Cowboys.
