Patriots Inactives vs. the Giants; Good News for New England

New England Patriots offensive tackle Trent Brown

The New England Patriots released their inactive list for today’s game against the New York Giants. The good news for the Patriots is that none of the decisions appear to be based around health. New England’s inactive list consists of five players:

CB Alex Austin
RB JaMycal Hasty
OT Vederian Lowe
WR Jalen Reagor
DE Sam Roberts

On this week’s New England Patriots injury report, there were seven players listed as questionable (50/50 chance of playing) for today’s game. It appears six of seven will be in the lineup today. Those players were:

LB Ja’Whaun Bentley (hamstring)
OT Trent Brown (ankle)
CB Jonathan Jones (knee)
WR DeVante Parker (concussion)
ST Matthew Slater (ankle)
DE Deatrich Wise (shoulder)

The return of Bentley, Brown and Parker (all out last game) is big for Bill Belichick’s team. Veterans Jones, Parker, and Wise are also good to go vs. New York.

OL Riley Reiff (knee) is the lone player for the Patriots that was listed as questionable will not play. He is still on Injured Reserve, and has yet to be activated, although his 21-day window to return is running.
