Patriots Daily: Anderson to IR; Parker Out for Sunday

New England Patriots have placed OT Calvin Anderson (illness) Injured Reserve. Anderson has been out for the past few weeks with an unspecified illness. He also missed all of preseason with an unspecified illness that he said was a very serious situation. It is unknown if the two illnesses are related, but a very concerning situation for Anderson.

WR DeVante Parker was also ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders. As has been well documented, Parker suffered a head injury in last Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins. He has been in concussion protocol since. Parker did not practice this week. His absence should signal a return to the lineup for rookie Kayshon Boutte.

Listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game are: DL Christian Barmore (knee), LB Ja’Whaun Bentley (knee), TE Pharaoh Brown (back), OT Trent Brown (ankle/knee), DT Davon Godchaux (illness), CB Jonathan Jones (knee), OT Vederian Lowe (ankle), WR Tyquan Thornton (foot), LB Josh Uche (ankle/toe), and DE Deatrich Wise (shoulder).
